They Were My Landscape
and they still are.
The ever present scenes of my life collected as an act of curiosity and compulsion.
There is no order, no subject more important than the next.
A stream of consciousness which has been collected on film and committed to print.
No name, no date; these people do not have identities, these cities have no name.
Fractions of a life slowed down, taken from ordinary days.
Time plays no part in the images, date is irrelevant.
Light is the ever present and I am threaded into the core of the work.
The need to collect is ingrained within my skin.
